IHF challenge: Pets week
This week's theme over at I Heart Faces is "Pets". I would like to showcase this wonderful Rottweiler named Julius. He is such a loyal and sweet companion!

evoking you - photo challenge "Sassy"
Evoking you is having a brand new photo challenge. The first one is "Sassy". This is a fun sassy set up between two sisters that I adore. I just wish I had moved the pretty lady holding the sign slightly over so the tree was not directly behind her...lesson learned but it's still great!

Save money with DIY projects
Lately, I have been looking for newborn photography props to enhance my sessions. I have come across numerous online businesses that cater to photographers by making newborn hats such as Sweet Love Creates and they are AMAZING but I want them all and cannot afford everything!
So...I drove myself down to the local craft store and bought a book called "I taught myself crochet" along with lavender yarn...because you know its totally easy to whip up a beautiful crochet hat. Wrong! Being the analyst I am, it took me 4 hours to even pick up the crochet hook and another hour watching many YouTube tutorials to start my first stitch. I think I was a bit adventurous in my thinking BUT I am on way to creating my first newborn beanie...I think! Check it out.
